Winter Snow

The first thing I could feel
Was the cold in my bones
The way the walls groaned
And squeaked with moans
I blinked up and wondered aloud
If the chilly air meant what I hoped for
Sure enough out my window
There lay at least 9 inches or more
I raced down the stairs with a loud clatter
Ignoring my mom's pleas of "whats the matter"?
Before I knew it, I was beneath the snow fall
My entire view overcome with endless white walls
