From cover to Shining Cover
On front, there stands a fellow
Wrapped in gold.
His eyes are filled with sadness
But his face shows a smile.
On the ground lies a shield
His guard is down.
Vulnerable.
On the back, there is a summary,
A short story of pain
And loss and cowardice men
They were tricked by a thief
Who stole their motivation
And left them
Vulnerable.
In between the covers
The story is spread over
Thousands of pages
The last, incomplete.
His tombstone says
“There is nothing like the death
Of a vulnerable man.”
