Rose Petals

A rose is beautiful, simply because it exists,
Yet.
A rose without its petals, is still a rose.
merely,
its petals were stolen,
a token,
to its own beauty.
And
Someone with a broken heart is still alive.
merely pieces of their heart were taken,
to loathe,
to resent forever,
against those who plucked it.
So.
A rose is beautiful, simply because it exists.
And you are beautiful, for the very same reason.
