The Beauty of Pain

From my infancy to my deathbed
I exchanged one bottle for another
And I have finally taken a seat after lifelong toiling
so that I can await the coming of my end
The Viking must die painfully
to be rewarded in Valhalla
A Priest must give up pleasure
for an entry to Heaven
Life entails suffering
but suffering was my goal
Because without suffering
death is not a reward
