From the dark came the spark
of a dream once caged now free
to stretch its flames to a new plane
and to liven and warm the world
in order
to inspire, to delight,
to encourage all despite
their supposed inabilities
and supposed shortcomings,
for the flame must spread.
It must govern our lives,
govern our thoughts,
govern us.
Its smoke must rise into the air
and extrude to the highest altitude,
as the cinders in the air wander
to share with the world a fire.
