Somewhere Else
Somewhere else
Oh, how I would love to be somewhere else,
Away from all the disorder, disarray, disruption.
Somewhere where no one can reach me,
No worries to cloud my mind like fog in the morning sky.
These days it’s all an endless cycle,
Homework, school, and finally sleep.
It’s a wheel that keeps on turning and if you don’t keep up,
You’ll end up lost in a workload that seems far too deep.
You have to choose what matters to you most,
School, Social life, or enough rest.
Sometimes i don’t have a clue which one fits me,
So i just stay stressed.
I think about how good it would feel to have the wind in my hair on a winding road,
To run away.
To be oblivious to the pressures of my daily life,
Just enjoy a sunny day.
