Perspective
These eyes These eyes see the world in a different way
These eyes wake up to a different day
These eyes are tired
Tired of hate
Tired of suffering
They’re here to set things straight
These eyes are strong
Strong for others in time of need
They pick us up
And push at full speed
These eyes are lost
No idea where to go
But nothing to lose
So they find the flow
These eyes have love
They’re completely filled with joy
All of life to enjoy
These eyes are scared
They have had so much to fear
Like that death is always near
These eyes sad
They’ve lost everything
And they can’t do anything
These eyes have seen it all
They are at their end
So it’s time to ascend
