OOPS! Twins...

Mom and Dad were not expecting this.

Late in her third trimester,

Mom started getting toxemia, 

and was rushed to the hospital. 

Meanwhile, Grandpa, (my dad's grandfather)

Was having heart surgery the same day 

At the same hospital.

The doctors were working on Mom, 

And my grandma tells me 

That they started shooting water at Saraeh and me.

Well, my sister and I had enough,

And started to get extremely stressed out.

The doctors said it was time to go into labor. 

Many of my family members were there

For this exciting occasion.

Nonni, Papa, Grandma, Grandpa Mike, 

Aunt Nichol, Aunt Krista, and several others. 

Aunt Krista always tells me how she had to run 

From floor to floor,

Checking on her dad and my sister and me.

When she saw my Papa in the room,

She noticed his hooks.

(They had never met before)

She thoughg he was the doctor

And worried how he was going to catch my sister and me.

For the surprise labor,

An emergency C-section was in order.

At 7:48 a.m. they pulled me out 

And at 7:50 They pulled out my sister.

I was 6lbs 5oz,

She was 5lbs 12oz.

Our names were as well planned 

As the delivery...

decided on a whim.

Our birth was surprisingly exciting.

And how lucky am I

To be born with my very own best friend?
