To Get Forever You Have To Give
She was the kind of person who held everything in
He knew that, he loved her for that
They were so in love with each other
The passionate fairytale love everyone wants
Soulmates, two people who found their perfect match made in heaven
They weren't always like that, to be with each other so much had to change
He had to give up on his belief that girls like her, couldn't ever like a guy like him
She gave up her dream to follow him after he left
one night when she was alone and decided she couldn't live without him, changed everything
They both knew that but couldn't act on it because they feared the moment they let someone in, they would leave
They loved unconditionally, sure they were different
But they completed each other like a puzzle
A perfect match, the right balance of everything
She gave up her house to be with him
He put aside his pride and fear and let himself be loved
She let him in, fully, and for her, that was huge
No one had ever known that much before
He didn't care what she told him, good or bad, no matter what, he wouldn't give her up
And even with their differences, they were perfect
Like a star that has split and come back together shining brighter than ever
The only reason they worked was because of the things they had given up
Love requires sacrifice, even sacrifices like telling someone a small thing no one else knows
Some people don't get that, but they did
When you love someone so much, you do everything in your power to be with them
