Her Colors
Her color, it radiated
From her glowing skin-
crooked smile.
soft deceptive voice.
she watched as I fell-
so hard, so fast.
She offered just enough to captivate me.
The love I saw in her eyes-
was false.
Just mine, reflected.
She lured me in,
and broke down my walls.
She blinded me with her colors-
lied to me.
Ignorance was not bliss.
For her blazing colors dulled,
revealing her true pigment.
Oozing black and hate.
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that’s why I hate you.
Your true colors
True colors are black
Like your heart.
She's gone now.
But took a part of me-
Stole my own color,
and the light in my eyes.
