Uncovered eyes
Sand so brittle, seeped through hands, breaks off to dust, catches with the wind, dances off, so brittle still connects.
Hands so rough, covered over raw, full but still can carry, rough but delicate to touch.
Skin of caramel, reflection of sun almost golden, hair of flowing water, lips of blood, voice heard after deaf passed, sight blind.
Crown of importance seen from blind, marks of plum, scars raised, tears fell down to smile.
Rip until hollow, enclosed but free, heart stayed, sacrifice.
Eyes uncovered.
