She's Scared
Her eyes never shine as brightly
She never laughs as loud anymore
  And when she eats,
Her stomach feels as if it’s going to burst.
So she chooses the fake smiles,
The fake laughs, and not to eat at all.
  She is not bulimic,
  She is not anorexic.
  She is a woman.
  A scared, terrified woman.
A woman terrified of the life ahead of her.
