Reminisce
Late nights and I'm up thinking about you.
Remembering all of the things that we've been through.
Recalling how bad I wanted you.
Cause baby when you look at me I feel like I'm the only girl in the room.
Reminiscing on the past and planning the future.
Making promises and pacts.
Having inside jokes that we used to laugh at while laying in my bed.
All the crazy thoughts spinning and twirling around in my head.
I gave you my all and got nothing in return but it's cool because my love for you brings me all the comfort I could ever need.
Remember the days where we used to cuddle and talk about all that we meant to each other?
Remember when we met each others mothers?
I've always heard that time flies fast when you're having fun but honestly I thought it would last forever.
Because if you would've realized it you were my only one.

This piece was inspired by a heartbreak from a relationship of mines that had just ended. I hope that people who read my piece will feel the pain that I had when writing this and that they will see that they aren't the only ones who have ever felt like this and I hope that my poem inspires them to write their own and also that it helps them get over their heartbreak.
