Martial Artist
"I am a martial artist." I see through different eyes.
I see a bigger picture even though I am not wise.
Though many can't conceive it, I stand facing the wind.
My bravery, not from fighting, but from my strength that is confined.
I am a martial artist. I'll walk the extra mile.
Not because I have to, but because it's worth my while.
I know that I am different, when I stand on a crowded street.
I know the fullness of winning, even when standing on concrete.
I am a martial artist. They say I walk with tranquility.
Though trained for bodily harm, my intentions are to resist humility.
The world may come and go, but a different path that will change my life.
A path I will not stray from, until i’m struck by the reaper’s scythe.
I am a martial artist. But now here lie.
In my death-bed caused by my blind eye.
I’m started to see the black hole.
And I’m ready to give up my soul.
I am a martial artist. So god, take my fighting heart.
I’ve already done my part.
Now, it is your time.
And allow this to be my last rhyme.
