People say:
“Love conquers all.”
It doesn’t always.
Lovers drift apart.
Chase stars
when they had
the moon.
Say it was a
mistake to
go.
It can’t be taken
back
so
easily.
People say:
“If you love them,
let them go.”
What if they won’t let you go?
What if they
can’t stay
but they
can’t go
either?
Love isn’t always
enough.
