Start out in the big state of Nebraska, where one moment you’re in the city and the next you’re in the country. Move into grandma’s house. Get our own house. Move out of grandma’s house. Run around with nothing but a binkie in hand. Learn to go potty. Have accidents. Go see my new baby brother. Play with him. Make him laugh. Help mommy. Cry. Move to a bigger house. Run around. Start kindergarten. Cut my hair. Get in trouble. Meet new friends. Meet new family. Go swimming. Have a new baby brother. See him in the hospital. Cut my hair again. Get in trouble again. Lose friends. Get a crush on a boy. Go to Jr. High. Find a best friend. Get a crush. Lose friends. Go to high school. Get in a fight with your best friend. Get a crush. Date him. Dump him. Realize you loved him. Date someone else. Break up with him. Get back with the first boy. Fall head over heels for him. Lose your best friend of 12 years. Meet your new best friend. Go to homecoming. Go on fun dates. Hang out. Get in fights. Make up. Say I love you. Smile. Get my heart completely shattered. Cry. Hang out with friends. Cry some more. Turn 16. Hang out with ex-boyfriend. Almost get back together. Make a mistake. Lose him. Cry. Get a job. Get a crush. Hang out with him. Start junior year. Go to homecoming with your best guy friend. Try dating. Break up. Meet Travis. Fall in love. Go on dates. Get through one month. Get heart broken. Have a merry Christmas. Start the New Year. Dye my hair white. Turn 17. Hang out with friends. Go to prom with Travis. Have the best night of your life. Meet a new boy. Go on the perfect date. Never see him again. Break up. Start summer. Meet new boy. Get hurt. Break up. Repeat. Chop my hair off. Start my final year of high school. Realize it’s almost over. Ask Mitchell to homecoming. Go to homecoming. Start second quarter. End first semester. Lose best friend. Start my last semester of high school. Think about college. Meet a cute boy. Go on a date. Smile. Turn 18. Never see the boy again. Feel hurt. Cry. End third quarter. Sit here and wonder about what life will be like after high school. Look up. Realize I’m done with this assignment.
