Favorite Quote:
"Opportunity is not a lengthy visitor."

When will it get better?
Every day is a new obstacle to overcome,
And a new memory to grieve.
It doesn’t get worse until it feels better,
Then it all comes crashing down again.

There’s no use in trying to push it away;
It’s like a parasite that silently eats from the inside.
There is no cure, no time frame, and no hope
To this fate that has chosen me.
I will wither away with the love I’ve lost.

Who knew insignificant memories could sting so much,
And one event could cut so deep,
As to where I will never heal.
This has changed me and torn me in half;
Nothing will ever be the same.

That memory is no longer just a memory.
That feeling has been branded into my heart.
That life has passed.
These cherished times can never be changed,
But somehow they have changed me.

I wanted to say the things people are too afraid to say aloud when they have lost something or someone.
