The Lost Train
Where did it go?
It was right there.
It was going slow
Then it left, its unfair.
I really needed the train
It was so sudden
Now it’s lost within my brain
This happens a lot, more than a dozen.
Why does this always happens to me
I see the train, I run to it
But then it leaves; its annoying don’t you see
And I throw a fit.
The train possesses a valuable item
The number of copies the item has is one
If it gets lost, its takes a long time to recreate it
Its take patience, so take a seat and sit.
The train is prepared for its destination
But somehow it gets lost and never makes it
When the train doesn’t get there, it’s a fascination
When it doesn’t get lost and reaches the end of the journey, it’s a hit.

I was inspired to write this poem after always losing my train of thought.
