Blooming Into Life
Planting it and waiting several months for it to sprout
Each day watching and taking care of it
Nourishing it so it one day is as beautiful as you expect
With its first appearance it is evident its weak and fragile
Its stem not completely formed yet
Defenseless and dependent upon its sun for care
Months pass and it has grown petals
It is no longer defenseless, fragile, or weak
Still depending on the caring sun for protection and nourishment
Time goes by and so does the sun radiance towards you
Everyday it shines a little less but little did you notice
There will come a time where it no longer shines for you
There will be others that need it too
That is life and you just have to deal with it too
Because one day you too will have to say goodbye
