If her mind were an ocean
It would be untamed with white foaming crests
On top of glittering, deep blue
Crashing and rolling
Unpredictable and strong
Never still
If her mind were a garden
It would be overgrown and messy
Tangled and complex
Always stunning
Even when the seasons changed
And the colors faded to silent white
If her mind was not hidden
People would realize
She was not who they thought she was
