An Arsonist
The raging inferno
floods my house
consuming the corruption
as it flows ever upward.
Taking with it pictures
of my Wife
and her boyfriend.
Vigorously they thrash to the rhythm
of their own roars,
swaying as they
hypnotize my curiosity.
The closer I am seduced,
the further away I wish to be,
yet I continue walking
until the incessant licks of
orange and yellow darken my skin
and remove what's left of my thinning hair.
I watch as they flick the unwanted waste
of my house into the pale sky
where the torrent ceases
and the ashes spin in the breeze.
I get one last look at the illuminated smoke
as the wind takes my home somewhere
far away from here.

I started writing this peice about a disfunctional relationship. Then I got the idea that it would be halariouse if he went crazy. So i made it that he burnt their house down. (No one died in this poem)
