Left brain: I am left brain.
Right brain: And I am right brain.
Person: And I’m Lauren
All: Sometimes we don’t see eye to eye.
Person: We disagree over the littlest things.
Left brain: Like when to study,
Right brain: Or when not to study! To Netflix and chill.
Left brain: Or not!
Person: Then there’s me. I kind of just go with whatever the brains tell me.
Right brain: Like how I made her go to that party one night.
Left brain: When she was sick and clearly should’ve stayed home. I think she should study more.
Right brain: No. Can’t you see she’s tired? She needs to chill.
Both brains: YOU’RE RUINING HER LIFE!
Left brain: She needs to work on her scholarships.
Right brain: But remember… She has that low ACT score.
Person: Only because you made me stay up late the night before.
Left brain: See she hates you.
Person: Well sometimes you get on my nerves too left brain.
Right brain: Aha! So she hates you too.
Person: Not exactly… I’m just tired. You say this. They say that.
All: When will we all just get along?
Person: Maybe it’s not so simple…
Left brain: But we can work on it. I’ll loosen the reins; let you take a load off.
Right brain: I’ll step up to the plate.
Both brains: We just want what’s best for you.
