messed up world
I’m tired of the injustice, tired of knowing the majority of the time if you have a clear face and a slim body you’ll be treated superior to those who don’t. I’m tired of people being unfair to others, knowing that they are better than me and smarter and that they are not getting the same treatment because they don’t fall in the category.
I’m tired because the person next to me is better than me and is being treated unfairly and when I try to stand up for them they just get judged. I’m tired of being a bystander and even when I do speak up the situation doesn’t get any better.
I see the good in everyone and not knowing how to help them breaks my heart into pieces.
I’m tired of this messed up world where feeling have been overlooked by the way you look.
I’m tired of those who don’t speak up for themselves because they are afraid of being called names. I’m tired of seeing how a pretty face can get you to skip everyone in line by the guy in the glasses, or by the guy who is too afraid to look up because he’ll be judge, or the one whose face is covered by hair. I’m tired of it all. Because even when I do try to make a difference is not enough…
