Bed of Lies
When did a bedroom become a bad place to go?
When did it stop being a place for yourself and not of discipline.
When going into your room means you're in trouble.
Your room which should be a safe place for you become a place you shouldn't go.
When it simply becomes a place of neglect, and punishment.
A room, should be a place full of laughter and joy, not Tears and regret one which you share with your pet.
When your pillow becomes a home for your tears and not your Tired head in which you held up through these years of abandonment and pain.
All these thoughts fill your head with empty opinions of your bed a bed that was held your aching body in times of need and your so-called parents yell those words "go to your room" as a phrase of punishment.
When you remember your room as a place of tears instead of Laughter and not a place to be safe that, that's when you know you need to stop and think what is a room?
A room is what symbolizes you and who you are, not an area and which discipline is shared
