Run, you cannot stop now
Push through, faster, faster, faster
Catch up to her! Keep her in front!
Like circuits of electricity
We run up the floor
Back and forth
Back and
Forth
Breath.
My lungs fill, taking in as much as they can
Our bodies being pushed to the breaking point
Multitasking like madmen and being screamed at is on the daily
But we do it because we love it
Mentally, emotionally, and physically drained
But our hearts invested in it
The love of the game.
