Walk in the Woods
First step
  Closing the car door
  Leaving all stress behind
  Grass bringing me closer
  To the real world.
  On the path
  wandering as I go
  Hoping it’s an adventure.
  Birds chirping
  their peaceful song
  Trees swaying
  in the wind
  Footprints indenting
my identity in the sloppy mud
  Making my story
  known to all other passers
  Peaceful-streaming-
  down the open river
  A quick jump,
  hoping for a meal
  instantly wripples back in
  On the path again
  Crinkling the leafs
  underneath me
  Getting further I realize.
  You forgot something
  But now it’s not
  worth going back
