The Change of Fall

Winter hit me like frostbite on warm skin.
It came with no warm welcome.
But in the mists of all of it I’m starting benefits of this crisp season.

The leaves are getting older yet colorful.
Pretty until they fall from the trees.
Then crumbling into tiny pieces.

Sadness is growing everyday. 
But fall is showing off it’s beauty.
So it is time time to let go.
