Disney
Disney movies make me happy no matter what I'm feeling.
They bring me hope and joy for a new beginning.
Magic carpets and talking animals fill up my imagination.
Things coming to life is what i'm always wishing.
To sing and laugh and dance and play all the day away.
Is what my mind is dreaming of during the long day.
When I sit in bed at night, dreaming I'm under the stars,
I hum so many wishing songs. I find where I belong.
Though singing Disney is my escape, I won't say that it's yours.
I hope you will try it soon. Its magic makes wonders and dreams come true.

Disney has always been a happy thing for me. All the magic and happy endings. They succeeded in making it the perfect fantasy world. When I was little I wanted nothing more than to be a Disney princess. I would imagine myself as Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, or any other Disney princess. I would act out scenes from the movies and make my sister act them out with me. I wanted, more than anything in the world, to be a Disney princess and go live at Disney world. It has been a dream of mine since I can remember. I would love to go and work there as a character, making kids laugh and smile and believe that the magic and dreams coming true is real. Being able to do that for these kids would be the best job in the world. I believe in all those things the Disney movies show: love at first sight, magic, and dreams coming true. It may seem silly but we all believe in something for some it is a religious belief but for me it is Disney magic. I will never forget the day my grandmother died, me and my sister were crying our eyes out, and my mom was crying and my dad was comforting her. He put on Sleeping Beauty for us to try and keep us occupied. It made me feel better and almost gave me a better understanding of what going on. Grand Muddy was just in a long sleep but true love's kiss just wasn't strong enough to wake her up. About two years ago I was going through a very rough time, and the thing that kept me smiling and okay during that time was going into a dance studio, turning on a classic Disney song and dancing my heart out. I would be crying, dancing, and singing along but after it was over I would feel better. The magic of Disney has been there for me through my darkest times and my happiest times. I would not be who I am today if I didn’t have Disney helping me through my life. It may seem silly but I do believe that some day my prince will come and a dream is a wish that my heart makes. Disney magic will always be something that I will truly believe in. No, I don’t believe magic exists in the real world, but it exists in my mind, imagination, and heart, so for me that makes it real.
