She's gone
A face of an angel lay on a paper
Once a mother but gone forever
Only to leave behind her little princess
I the girl, can only wish to see
The resemblance between she and me
I try to be what my mother was
But taking her away is what a tragic illness does
I often look in the mirror and stare at my reflection
Learning to live without my mother's affection
I hold back my tears
Only because my mother once said
Be strong, I love you my dear
As I compare her image to me
I can only hope to grow into a woman as beautiful as she
