Rooms of Emotion
I can scream until my lungs burst,
I can pound on these walls until they are covered in my blood,
And I can cry until my eyes have dried,
But when you are in a room with no windows and no doors,
In complete and utter solitude,
Those screams,
And that blood,
And those tears,
Mean nothing,
For in this room,
There is nobody for them to mean anything to,
And when my lungs collapse,
My body crumbles,
And my vision blurs,
In this room with no windows and no doors,
In complete and utter isolation,
There is nobody for me to matter to.
