Trees lift their leafy twigs
to the sky,
Latching to last twinges
of light.
Grabbing to the orange glow;
Gripping to the sunshine;
In the final most moments
of the day.

I live in a wooded area so the most of the time I don't get to see the sunset but I love to see the sunset shining on the very tops of the trees.
