He Came Today
My dad showed up today at school
Carrying a plant in his hand and love in his heart
But little did he know that i wish something more
  That he wouldn't come back
  It'd only make me sore
  Whiplash from all around
Bringing my heart to the ground
Begging for less that what i have
I'm trying to keep my grasp
  You weren't supposed to come
  You weren't supposed to know
The more you say i love you the more i want to know
  But knowing isn't everything
Its what i don't know that is
I'm trying so hard to cope with this
My dad left today with a tear in his eye
Now that hes here and gone
  I really want to cry
