I Was A Daisy
You blew away from me like a petal on a windy day
I stood there watching you drift away
I was incapable to move and pick you right back in place,
You were a part of me,
You completed me
Now I’m a damaged flower in a meadow full of roses,
But I was a daisy
What made me so different?
Was that why you drifted away?
For I was daisy surrounded by roses,
As you left, my other pieces that made me complete was now vanished
You were that petal that made me whole
For no one picked me right back up after you were gone
Beautiful
Elegant
Poise
Intriguing
Like a flower
But like a petal on a windy day
You drifted away
Slowly
But surely
You were gone.
