Am i still not good enough?

You told me my smile was ugly,

so i stopped smiling.

You told me I was fat,

so i starved myself.

You told me that my pimples were disgusting,

so i covered it up with makeup.

You told me I was not good enough,

so I changed.

 

And now, you tell me that I am fake,

you tell me that i should be MYSELF.

But isn't this what YOU wanted?

Wasn't it YOU that wanted me to change?

Am I still not good enough?

 

You told me to hate myself,

and I did.
