If a Tree Falls in the Woods

If a tree falls in the woods and no one's around to hear it
Does it make a sound
When it hits the ground hard and no one's there
Is it loud
Is it explosive
Does it viciously attacks the silence
Leaving the ground trembling, aching
Never to be the same
Or does nothing happen
All the birds are still
The sound waves hold their gentle tongues
The bugs follow their daily mundane rituals
like the early morning class
Everyone falling asleep
Is it silent simply because no one cares
No one thinks about just another tree in the woods
