Ode To Feelings
Flowing with the blood in my body,
You are the roses and thorns in my life.
You see and know what happens to me,
As you react to it first, I follow your steps.
When I cry,
You cry with me.
I receive a waterfall of depression,
And that was the gift you sent to me.
Once you smile deep down,
I allow an upside down umbrella on my face.
These tears aren’t the reasons of darkness,
But they are the reasons of brightness.
My nerve cells are waiting for your commands,
We need an order from you.
As we patiently halt for you,
You always understand all my situations.
You show me a passionate affection towards him/her,
And you and I are always searching.
My sensitivities where I desire for,
You control them like I am a game of love.
A reminiscence that isn’t noticed by people,
But to me, it feels miserable like burning papers.
Controlled deeply inside,
I completely stop the ways of going around you.
The pain you and I receive,
Is as invisible as you are to the outside world.
A vision I see that you may not,
Can bring you into the darkest place you would experience.
You are my best friend,
We’re known to be twins.
I cover for you,
You cover over me until the END.

What has inspire me to write this poem was because when my aunty had passsed away I thought about how my life will be like in the future. And all the words my family had said to me to make me push myself forward.
