Where I'm From

Where am from, I am simply from Virginia. I’m from hearing people praying all the time. I’m from hearing the imam calling for prayer. I’m from living room hearing people say what’s wrong with the world. I am from backyard helping with garden with one of my uncles. Feeling the dirt and grass through my gloves. I’m from hearing the loud voices of children nearly every day. I’m from the couch waiting for my show to come on.
