I come from a home that I have lived in for my whole life.
It’s my house, it’s where I feel the safest.
It’s a place I know I can go if I need some time to myself.
I’m from a city that has everything close and around me for all my needs.
I’m from a family that loves to laugh.
A family that loves and cares for each other.
I’m from a family of four people with me being the oldest child.
With me being shorter than my younger sister.
I’m from a simple lifestyle with a family that loves each other.
A memory I have is the playground I had in my backyard that I played on a lot.
I come from a family that is athletic all around; competitive.
I know when it’s a good day when my sister and I aren’t home all day because of sports games.
Days where I only see one parent because the other is with my sister.
I know everything is good one were all at the dinner table talking and laughing about our days.
I know a day is bad when my dad is in the office and doesn’t come out.
I come from a family that is always goofing around and can’t be serious.
What feels natural to me is always having a dog in the house.
My dad and I bond over sports mainly basketball.
When I was little my dad would take me to the school and shoot some hoops.
My mom and I would play board games.
I grew up always playing games and being outside.
I’m from an active lifestyle that doesn’t slow down for anyone to catch up.
There wasn’t a day where I could just sit down and not do anything.
A day where I didn’t do anything most likely meant I was sick that’s how my parents would find out I’m not feeling well.
I now come from a place that never stops moving; teen life.
Long days consisting of papers and sports practices.
I come from a place where I have most fun when I’m with my friends and all we do is laugh and joke around.
There are good and bad days and that all depends on who I’m with to change my mood.
I love to laugh.
My family and friends are like me and that’s why they are a part of my life.
My life now is more complex with lots of responsibilities.
School, basketball, driving, and a job are my main focuses as a 16 year old.
Right now is most important for how successful I will be in my own life.
