I’m from being the first and only baby
I’m from Dallas, Texas
I’m from being up in the blue sky going to different places at 8 months
Moved to Virginia but too young to remember
I’m from always being active since the age of 2 and up
I’m from learning two languages at the age of three
Started going to Village Green Day School at the age of three everyday
I’m from hating being apart from my mom, even though she was in the same building and two rooms away
I’m from having fear of leaving home on the first day of elementary school
I’m from having great Friday night dates with my father
I’m from loving to stand on sandy ground and having the sun hit my skin
I’m from enjoy the time with my family because I knew they were further away, past Florida
I’m from finding my inner peace at the age of 10 by dancing away alone in my room
I’m from having long talks during the night with the one person that has always been holding me since I was born
I’m from having such positivity around me with friends and family
I’m from having that weird changing stage from middle school till high school
I’m from flying around the sky, to dancing around my room, until I grew up and trying to find out where am I from
I’m almost ready to jump out of home and transform to who I want to be
I’m from when that moment comes, it will be hard to be apart from the ones that have always been with me.
