Lost and Found
Oh dear, where has my little red coat gone to now?
You see, I need it to keep me warm,
to keep my veins from frosting over.
It's my life source,
It is, in fact, an important thing, of course.
Oh dear I see it now;
Tucked in the little jagged cracks of my own little lost and found.
I see not one, but two little red coats,
Oh not two, but three little red coats!
Oh how I wish for my coats back!
To see, but not touch,
is an agonizing insanity.
I wish and wish, only until all the shooting stars have been wasted.
I understand now,
My little red coats are out of reach.
Tucked away in my own little lost and... found?
They are lost.
But they have not been found.

The little red coats in this poem were meant to symbolize the broken heart pieces that sometimes we can see but not fix, that are completely lost and missing. We sometimes need someone to find these pieces and glue them back to their glory. This doesn't just mean by relationships, but by anything that has hurt us in more of a way than we could ever repair by ourselves.
