Dark and waiting
patient and quiet
lurking Shadows
I creep and run
away
from those scary
eerie shadows
ones that sneak up on
you
one that hold
secrets
upon
secrets
whispering silence
a cool welcoming
embrace
resisting shadows
or melting into
them.
