The Color of The Soul
Souls are a tricky thing.
Some say there are none,
but I think they’re a canvas,
neutral and pure, until stained.
Some say your life is what you make it,
but I think it all sways on a ledge,
with one push in the wrong direction
it falls into the black abyss.
Power and strength,
are what most desire,
to earn them,
blood needs to spill.
Yours or their own,
depends on the color of your soul.
I am young,
and I do not know my color.
and until I do I hope I am not stained
before I know the path I take.
