I’m perfectly perfect at being imperfect
My life is filled with internal conflict
A quiet voice in my head telling me my dreams are a misdirect
I should start being logical and focus on my intellect
I’m nothing more than a girl with a dream
Who dreams of nothing more than a sweet sixteen
Or maybe a fairytale story to make my eyes gleam?
I’m starting to get tired of swimming upstream
I always think of what ought to happen
Of what I thought would happen
But I never think of what would really happen
Did I miss my shot?
