I love my beautiful sunlight
I notice you and I cant help but smile.
Its hard not to when im in your presence
the pure energy you give to me fills my body
and I feel okay with the world for a short moment
for knowing that such an entity exists
I love my wonderful sunlight
The sun brings life to this world
without it it would be cold and dark
A mindless rock hurling through space with no direction
The sun brings happiness to a cold planet
every so often admirers stop
and see what most people overlook
and I love that I stop
because if I hadnt, my sunlight
would have passed me by like every other planet in our solar system.
left to continue their existence in solitude
I wouldnt have the life in me
I wouldnt have the warmth in me
I wouldnt have the light in me.
my sunlight brings joy to my earth,
and gives me reason to do,
reason to change,
reason to try.
I love my happy sunlight.
and the most beautiful part,
that which almost brings me to tears,
My sunlight loves me too.
