Lonely Heart - Deceiving Grace
Back at home
Lonliness surrounding her soul
Craving the kindest touch.
Nobody knows why she's so bold
Presented with a heart so cold,
Perhaps pain damaged her.
Weeping about what her classmates say
Questioning how she will approach the next day,
Begging her inner shields will surrender.
Her emotions are like smoke to the lungs
Which will eventually kill the beating drum.
But for now,
Put on your mask-
And don't look back.
