Money pours from her candy-coated liquor lips,
Black cars fill up with pretty little fools,
Fur coats strewn across the floor,
Her diamond eyes light up these dark nights, but not her soul.
Gold spills from her eyelashes and streaks her cheeks,
Posh hands drag her down to hell along a red carpet.
Escape comes through needles and smoke,
Flashes capture every little smile, every little fake laugh,
Parties stretch into mornings and champagne stains hearts.
Pretty boys line up to kiss her hands,
Messy sheets covered with secrets in black and white,
Brilliant white smiles blind out ignorance.
Blonde bimbos dance through her head,
Painted faces sleep in her bed,
Alcohol runs into veins and blood is collecting on the floor.
Life is a perfect picture, she smiles at the camera.
The new Americana.
