I see you.
I see you in the trees,
In a child’s smile,
In a laugh,
In a moment.
I see you.
Because the truth is,
I am you,
And you are me.
But we are not the same anymore.
You are me of the past,
A thought of who I was,
You I know.
But me,
I'm unsure of her.
I see you in the happy moments,
And me in the storm,
In the rain,
In the darkness,
And it makes me wonder who I have become.
