Guilt
  Do you know?
  I walked past you today
  Do you know?
the courage I have mustered just to walk past you.
  The guilt
  eating me away
  the sinking feeling
  in my stomach
  the way my feet
  reacts
  When my eyes see you
  What am I afraid of?
  Do you know?
  not talking to you
  Ignoring
  for my own good
  for yours
  Is that wrong?
  The guilt
  the weariness
  seeing you alone
  Do you know?
I wish we could be back together
  Do you know?
  I’m sorry.
  Very sorry
  But I don’t think
what I have done can be erased
  It is there
  forever ever after
  You hate me
  Do you know?
I figured that out long ago
  Sorry
This is all I can say.
  Sorry.

I wish to apologize, but I don't even have the courage to talk to you. I don't think my million apologies can heal your wounded heart or your eyes that stare at me with hatred as I finally pass by you.
