We were raised on the idea that all men are created equal,
but in my eyes,
it seems that some are more equal than the rest.
The green men who steal our souls and lock them away in a bank vault,
like leading a dog into a cage with bacon,
and slamming the door shut behind it.
We’re lured with false words of wealth,
with false words of false prophets,
with false promises of no more false words.
But even with our life-blood drained, and our hearts trampled,
we hold on to the ideals carried on by our founding fathers.
Even when our own people taint our name,
we carry on,
fighting for an un-American America.
And while we scream for America, the green men do too,
warping our words into declarations of war,
responding to our rage with bloodshed,
in the yellow lands.
No more blood for oil.
No more foreign blood for America.
The fight is here,
and America will be America again.

Great allusion to Langston Hughes in the last line.
