My twin Brother
Do you know what it’s like to have our own mother
look at you and start crying
Or to have your family constantly remind you
you were gonna have a twin brother,
but he died in the womb
You feel like you have to always
try harder at everything so that your
family will stop reminding you of it,
but they won’t and then having the feeling
to always protect your little sister and brother.
Your little brother is named after your
Twin brother and then
Your mom doesn’t love you because
you remind her too much of
your twin brother
When you were little
You kept looking out the window
hoping that when your dad came to
pick you up from daycare that
your twin brother would
be in the car waiting or at home waiting for you and give
you a hug and then you two would
go outside and play, but
when you do get home
he isn’t there.
Your mom and dad
take you to his grave.
Mom
Dad
start crying
You say
“It’s okay, please don’t cry mommy and daddy.”
“We are trying everyday, and we are crying because we just love you so much.”
mommy and daddy said.
